Take a Night Off From Fishing
Try taking in a major league baseball game this summer. It will help break up the monotony in your life and provide some fun memories. Alright all of you die-hard fisherman out there, settle down, even you need to take a little break sometimes.
Recently, Mrs. SonarFish and I took in a Milwaukee Brewers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game at Miller Mark, in Milwaukee. We met up with some college buddies, and had a good time watching a game from our favorite team, even though they lost that game. I kind of forgot how much I liked the atmosphere of a baseball stadium, and it’s so much better when the home team is winning. I grew up in northern Wisconsin and didn’t get many chances to go to Brewer games until I was in college at UW-Oshkosh (about 1.25 hours away). Now I live in central Minnesota, so the opportunities to go to Miller Park are few and far between with 2 little kids in our house. So the occasional Twins game usually has to suffice.
So you should add this as another item for your summer bucket list. A Major League Baseball can be great for everyone. Even if the closest stadium is 8 hours away, I encourage you to plan a weekend out of it and take in a game.
Good luck fish’n

My name is Brad Bolton, a husband and father of four. I live in Minnesota and I enjoy spending time in the outdoors and also spending time with my family. If there is water nearby, I want to fish it.
